This policy explains what personal information MyKodai.com ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and our mobile app, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, mobile number and password. Passwords are stored in a scrambled (hashed) form and are never visible to our team.
- Bookings and requests: the stay, guide or jeep safari you book, dates, number of guests, the guest name and mobile number you enter, and any notes you add.
- Enquiries: details you send through contact, property-sale or site-visit forms (name, phone, email, message).
- Reviews: ratings and comments you choose to post.
- Technical information: a login token on your device so you stay signed in, and basic server logs (such as IP address and time) used for security and to prevent abuse.
We do not collect your card or bank details. Stays are paid for at the property. We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos or files from your device, and the app does not contain advertising.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To process your booking or request and to send you booking updates.
- To reply to your enquiries and give customer support.
- To keep the service safe, prevent fraud and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
When you book, we share the details needed to serve you (your name, mobile number, dates and guest count) with the property owner, local guide or jeep owner you booked. For enquiries about property for sale, your details go to the team handling that listing. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details while your account is active. Booking and payment records are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax and dispute purposes.
Your choices and rights
- You can view and edit your name, email and mobile number in the app (Account → Edit profile) or on the website.
- You can delete your account in the app (Account → Delete my account) or by following the steps on our Delete Account page. When an account is deleted, your name, email, mobile number, saved places and login sessions are removed. Booking records we must keep for legal and accounting reasons are retained without your identity.
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us below.
Security
The website and app connect over HTTPS. Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, so please choose a strong password and keep it private.
Children
Our service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
